About us
My name is Kayla, and I founded AK Wildflour LLC, a Micro-Bakery, in 2024. My passion for good food and lifelong learning has shaped every aspect of this business. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I became deeply aware of how nutrition impacts our health. This led me to explore different flours, sugars, oils, and the methods used to process raw ingredients, sparking a journey that brought me to where I am today—doing what I love.
At AK Wildflour, my goal is to help my community enjoy wholesome, homemade food without needing to commit the time it takes to make everything from scratch. While I may not compete with grocery store prices, what I offer is transparency, quality, and a promise that your food is made with the best ingredients, free from unnecessary additives, preservatives, and oils.
Outside of the kitchen, I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, painting, video games, and TikTok. Originally from Nashville, I left home at 18 and spent years traveling across the U.S., immersing myself in different cultures, cuisines, and cooking techniques. Today, I call Alaska home and am grateful to bring my love of food and community to this beautiful state.
One day, I hope to expand into a physical location, but for now, I’m excited to share this journey with you. Thank you for supporting AK Wildflour—I’m honored to be a part of your table.
