How do I place an order?

Ordering is easy! Simply browse our website, add your desired items to your cart, and proceed to checkout when you're ready. Please note that we do not accept orders through any other websites or social media platforms.

Do you offer shipping?

Yes! We now offer shipping for select baked goods. However, please keep in mind:

We cannot control shipping times once an order has been handed over to the carrier.

Our products are freshly made without preservatives, so while we take great care in packaging, they may not arrive in the same freshness as our locally delivered items.

We recommend selecting the fastest shipping option available to maintain quality.

If you have any concerns about shipping times or product freshness, feel free to reach out before placing an order.

We cannot ship outside of Alaska.

Do you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?

While we take great care in handling ingredients, our kitchen is not allergen-free. Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame.

If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before placing an order. We cannot guarantee against cross-contact.

What if I select a custom flavor or topping request?

We love creativity and will do our best to accommodate special requests! However, customizations are subject to ingredient availability. Please note your request when adding the product to your cart, and if possible, provide a backup option in case your first choice isn’t available. We stock a wide variety of ingredients and can accommodate most requests.

Do you accept returns or provide refunds?

Due to the nature of our business, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, if you experience any issues with your order, please reach out to Kayla@AKWildflour.com, and we will do our best to make it right.

How should I store my baked goods?

Cookies, cupcakes, and brownies: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.

Bread and bagels: Best enjoyed within 48 hours. If not eating right away, we recommend freezing for long-term storage.

Shipped items: We suggest lightly warming or refreshing baked goods upon arrival if they have been in transit for several days.

Items will be physically individually labeled with specific heating and storage instructions.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

We will make one delivery attempt during your selected time window. If we are unable to access your location (e.g., missing gate code, incorrect address), your order may be returned to us.

If you are unable to receive your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds will not be issued for missed or abandoned orders.

Do you offer catering?

Yes! We would love to be part of your special event. Please visit our Catering page to submit a request.

Do you offer pick-up or delivery?

At this time, we offer no-contact deliveries: Anchorage: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and Wasilla: Saturdays only. Currently, we do not offer a pick-up option.

When will my order ship?

Orders can vary with processing time depending upon varying factors such as number of orders being processed, quantity of items ordered, if we are doing in-person events and so forth. You will receive a notification once your order has shipped. If you need an order by a specific date, please reach out before placing your order to confirm availability. We do not ship products out on Saturday or Sunday currently.

what shipping methods are there to choose from?

USPS, FedEx and UPS are available at check out, you may choose which option is best for you. The prices are carrier calculated at check out and vary.

How do I schedule a delivery?

After completing checkout, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a scheduling link. Please click the link and follow the prompts to select your preferred delivery time.

To ensure a smooth and timely delivery, please provide: An accurate delivery address, a reachable phone number, any special instructions (e.g., gate codes, apartment access details). Please note that your scheduled delivery time is estimated window within two hours of your scheduled delivery, and is not an exact arrival time.

Why can’t I place an order for next-day delivery?

As we craft everything from scratch, and made to order, many of our baked goods require proper resting, proofing, or chilling periods that simply can’t be rushed. If you need an order on short notice, please contact us directly—we’ll do our best to accommodate your request, depending on availability and preparation time.

Do you have a physical location?

We are a microbakery, operating from a professionally designed mini commercial kitchen within my home. Due to homeowner association regulations, we are unable to accommodate pick-ups directly from our location.

Can I place an order without paying?

Full payment is required at checkout, as all of our items are made to order. We do not accept cash or check payments at this time.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

All orders are made to order, so once an order is placed, we are unable to offer modifications or cancellations. If you need to make a change, please reach out to us as soon as possible, and we will let you know if an adjustment is possible based on the preparation stage of your order.

What are your business hours?

Our kitchen operates on a made-to-order basis, and our business hours may vary. We do our best to respond to emails and messages within 24 hours, but during high-volume periods, response times may be longer.

Is your kitchen inspected?

Our kitchen operates under Alaska’s Homemade Food Rule (HB 251) and is not inspected by the state health department. While we adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety, our baked goods are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to regular health inspections.
